I source this delicious and healthy oil from Luna Solai, who grow it organically and process it with their own oil presses.
Beeswax
Natural emollient and protective barrier, anti-inflammatory.
Beeswax forms a protective layer on the skin, retaining moisture and creating a smooth texture. It soothes and hydrates dry and cracked skin, protecting it from environmental irritants. Its anti-inflammatory properties help reduce redness and irritation, providing long-lasting comfort and protection. This beeswax comes from the beehives we host in the Hodaia gardens, created by the bees we collaborate with to pollinate medicinal and aromatic plants. With each season, beeswax can have minor differences in color and smell, which slightly influences the appearance of the finished product, but without changing its qualities.
Calendula flower extract (Calendula officinalis)
Antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial and healing properties.
Calendula extract promotes skin healing, reduces inflammation and has antimicrobial effects. It soothes irritated skin, accelerates the healing process of minor wounds and provides relief. Ideal for treating cuts, scrapes and skin irritations, supporting skin health and rapid repair. In the Hodaia gardens we have a small plantation of marigolds, because these miraculous medicinal plants should not be missing from any garden. From the garden, these flowers go directly to the own laboratory where they are transformed into an active and concentrated ingredient for Hodaia products.

How to use apply it
Before applying
Wash your hands thoroughly with lukewarm water and soap to remove dirt and impurities, then gently dry them with a towel.
How to apply
Take a small amount of the balm and massage it into your hands until fully absorbed. Pay special attention to dry or cracked areas for intense hydration.
Frequency of use
Use daily, preferably in the morning and evening. For extremely dry hands, apply after every hand wash and before bedtime for intensive hydration.

Each Hodaia product is created by hand, in small batches, without the help of industrial equipment. Each batch may differ slightly in texture, color or smell. This is because the ingredients (plant extracts, essential oils, plant powders or cold-pressed oils) can show small differences from season to season, depending a lot on the harvest period, if it was a drier period or for other reasons related to nature. These differences will in no way affect the quality and effectiveness of the products.
To make it easier to carry, this cream comes in an easy-to-use metal box. So you don't have to worry about the glass or ceramic jar breaking in your luggage. And the amount is enough to last a few weeks with daily use. The box is made in France and is made of high quality metal which helps in longer reuse. After you finish the cream, you can wash and reuse the box for storing small things or if you have no use for it, you can collect a few more such boxes from Hodaia and when you have collected at least 5 well cleaned pieces, you can contact me, and I will send the courier for them and you will also receive a new cream as a gift. These used tins use them to create candles or to put the solid dish detergent in them. In this way we all take care of the environment by reusing packaging.
All Hodaia products are individually wrapped in recycled paper, recycled cardboard or wood wool. Even if they don't use foils, I can assure you that the products will be well packed, so that they reach you in good condition. Sometimes you may notice that you receive the package in a box that was previously used for packages. I think it is more important not to waste extra things and garbage. However, the products will be individually in new, clean packaging.
